Ingredients

  • 3 Ripe Avacados
  • 1 Small Tomato
  • 1/4 Red Onion
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 Tbsp Coriander, chopped
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Method

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the stones and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork until you reach your preferred consistency. Leave some small chunks for a chunkier guacamole.
  3. Add the diced tomato, red onion, coriander and lime juice.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Gently stir until everything is combined.
  6. Taste and adjust the lime juice and seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve immediately with corn chips, tacos, nachos or your favourite Mexican-inspired meal.

Notes

  • Use ripe avocados for the creamiest guacamole.
  • If your tomato is particularly juicy, remove the seeds and excess liquid to prevent watery guacamole.
  • Add chilli or jalapeño for a spicy version.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1–2 days.
  • Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to help reduce browning.
